So, I don't know if it's related but I'm having a little bit of a regression moment. First, I went into the new Crewcuts store last night (while I was supposed to be at the Food Emporium grocery shopping) and I couldn't help buying this supercute tote:

It is "exclusive" of the Madison Avenue store, as you can see:

It's very likely the gift that they were giving away to the first clients for the opening, but I was on vacation that week and I couldn't resist the cuteness and the price (it was "only" $9.50). Anyway, this is the only thing that I could possibly buy for me at the Crewcuts store (and this is clearly not meant for my daughter since it's almost as big as she is).
I had another "regression moment" this past Sunday when I wore a Peanuts tee (that I haven't worn in ages) with Snoopy wearing a pair of earcuffs and a text that says "I love Rock and Roll". Sorry, I din't take a pic because I didn't know that I would wrote a post about it. There must be a rule written in some bible of style that says that you can't wear Peanuts tees if you are past twelve but I haven't been "at school" in almost twenty years so I feel legitimated (and a lot of people, and I don't count toddlers, seem to like that tee because I always get smiles).
Have a nice week everyone!
I love that bag, it is super cute! I would have bought it too! Did they have a lot of them... I'm feeling the need to run out tomorrow and get one.
ReplyDeleteMy DD is starting preschool this Wednesday for the first time. Today was the orientation and when I saw her follow her teacher and interact with her classmates my heart felt warm... my baby has grown up so much. :-) It's amazing how fast they grow up.
ReplyDeleteBtw, what a cute tote. It would be great as a library book bag or just anything!
Summerilla, they had only a few outside when I bought mine but I'm sure they had more in the back.
ReplyDeletejcmama, yes they grow up fast. I actually used the tote this morning to carry all my daughter's preferred toys.
hope you are doing well, with your daughter in school and all:) i know the feeling, i am a teacher and every September when i go back to work, after being home with my little boy all summer, i miss him SO much. He's two and a half, so when he goes to nursery school i will be needing a TON of kleenex!!
