BR hat, JCrew Tulip ruffle cami, JCrew denim pencil skirt and Urban Outfitters Dragonfly pendant necklace
And this (I also had the BR hat on but I cut my head off, duh!):
I really wanted a hat for this summer and I finally found one that fits my (apparently gigantic by JCrew standards) head. Also $27 is about the price that I want to spend on a hat that I don't know how many times I will dare wearing. It appears to be soldout on the BR website but you can find it in stores (and get it with 30% this weekend if you have a Get and Give coupon. By the way, they accept phone coupons, you just have to show them the email). I also bought the slubby striped roll-up tee in an olive color (store only?):
but I am not sure if I am going to keep it. Besides the fact that I have more striped tees than I can wear, I am not sure that I like the round hem on this one (I love the color though an I don't have a striped olive tee). Thoughts?
The Urban Outfitters dragonfly pendant necklace is another recent find. I had this store credit that was burning a hole in my pocket and they recently opened a store in my neighborhood so I popped in yesterday before pickup. I actually liked many things but this necklace was a standout. And it has a clock inside as a bonus. It is a good (and less expensive) alternative to the JCrew oval locket one (don't listen to the negative review on the website, it is beautiful for the price IMO):
Have a happy weekend!

I love the tulip cami and the white dress. Tell me about 'can't wait to wear...' I would like to see some warm weather!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
I love the hat on you. It's great that you'll have a summer hat when you need it (I've always had problems finding a ladies hat that fits)! As for the stripe tee...I too suffer from stripe fatigue. So far, stripe-wise, I've only purchased the stripe pocket cardigan this season. If you don't absolutely need an olive stripe tee right now, I say wait. Whether it's the next batch of new arrivals or next season, one will come along that you'll like better. Love the color of the tulip ruffle cami on you.
ReplyDeleteThe tulip cami looks beautiful on you, I hope it goes on sale soon in that color. Hey, my daughter's name is Audrey too. There is a book called 'Being Audrey' at Anthropologie which entertains her while I browse through the sale racks.
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove the white dress on you. I haven't been interested in it, but now I might have to try it.

Hi there, new follower here! I love that dragonfly pendant - I think I will go check it out even though I haven't shopped at Urban Outfitters in years (was turned off by the poor quality). I also really like the white dress. I love white dresses for summer.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a chance to check out my blog and maybe even become a follower!

Rose, it looks like it is going to snow this week!
ReplyDeleteDecaf, you are right about the stripe tee. I don't LOVE it and I don't need another striped tee even if I don't have a olive one.
dinster, what a coincidence, it isn't such a popular name. I must look for that book, she loves to see her name. Thanks for sharing!
suburban mom, thanks.
fash boulevard, I will checkout your blog (LOVE LA!)
Louise, welcome! I hadn't stepped in Urban Outfitters in at least three years and I was pleasantly surprised. It is geared to a younger crowd but I found a lots of stuff to love.
kris, I think it is a very flattering. Must try! I also love that it is very crisp.
Ema, congrats on finding your fedora! I spent the majority of last spring searching one, so I know how good it feels to finally find the perfect match!!
ReplyDeleteThat white dress is to. die. for. on you. Can't wait to see your outfits with it!
The tulip cami looks awesome on you! I just picked it up today too! Except...is the front layer "uneven" if you pull it completely open? I wonder if that's just how it's supposed to be? Or is my top defective?
ReplyDeleteI missed this post. The hat is really cute. Love the tulip cami outfit & white dress. Bring on spring!
