OOTD: Cool Grey for a Hot Day

So as you can see I am still experimenting with Polyvore, which is quite addictive (like I needed another addiction). I wore this outfit this afternoon for a quick trip to the Collection store to see if they had received more stuff (not much new but I got to try the Jardin skirt and a couple of other items).
I love so much my heathered playa skirt in indigo blue that I ordered the smoky graphite one during one of the last promos. I needed a light-colored, not-mini skirt and this one is perfect because it isn't a pencil skirt, technically, but can be easily dressed up for work or school (especially if you size up). I really, really love the paperbag effect of the waistband in this skirt.

Today it was 90 degrees and I dressed it down with one of my favorite (if not my favorite) tee, the Imperial tee from two years ago. When I think that I hesitated to buy this tee because it came out in a late summer rollout and I was unsure if I would wear it! It also held up pretty well, compared with other tees and considered that I wear it quite often (no holes, no hem coming undone and the faux-rhinestones haven't come off).
