My Halloween costume this year was pretty lame (we went to a "spooky party" Saturday night and I wore a witch costume that I had bought at the last minute for $9).
Today we went treat-or-tricking in the neighborhood with friends and I was so tired that I didn't even make the effort to wear something pumpkin. My daughter was Snow White. Isn't she the fairest of all?
I have to say that we have many dress-up/princesses costumes at home but she wears this one as if she was really a princess, with royal elegance. Several times I had a start upon seeing her (like she wasn't my daughter but a creature from a fairytale), especially from the back. It must be the cape (it is really a beautiful costume but shreds off glitter everywhere, mommies be warned):
We found the witch at one of the townhouses in Carnagie Hill (it's the Snow White witch because she is holding an apple). My daughter wasn't scared (she said that "she isn't real") so we took a picture:
Once home, in her tricks bag we found a few Halloween gadgets and she did a quick transformation into monster (but she is still cute):
Happy Halloween all!

Happy Halloween, Ema!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is very brave and adorable. I always love seeing the little ones in their costumes.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a fun Halloween.
Oh Ema, she is gorgeous! I had to have an extra 1/2 glass of wine to push myself out the door and roll down the street ;) At least it wasn't snowing this year!
ReplyDeleteOur babysitter gave the kids some fairy costumes last year (my son in particular loved them?!?) and it took me weeks to clean up all the glitter. They are now in the attic and seem to have been forgotten, cross fingers!
I hope you have caught up on your sleep and are feeling better today!
My God, you look terrifying!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is so cute---she looks just like you!
